Fred Goes to the Li-berry! (aka Take Your Fred to Work Day)

Hello again. It's me...Fred.

OMD! OMD! OMD! I spent the morning with Old Girl at work on Friday. (She is a li-berry-enne.)

And it was the BEST. DAY. EVER.

Here are the pictures to prove it!

This was the shirt I wore. It fit the dress code. (And you can still see me big collar in this picture, but I got to take it off at the li-berry.)

OK, ready to work. "Can I help you and stuffs? Can I read to you? Can I pee-pee on the books?" (No, just FYI...no running through the stacks neither.)

Oh, wait! First, I have to do a little happy dance!!! So excited to be here!

Shelving the books...(*note* Biting the books was a definite no.)

Checking out a patron...(that means giving the person books and stuffs...again, no biting...)

Saying goodbye and thank you to the patron...

I did lots of snoopervising at two different compooters...

We were both getting a little tired at this point...

Then I went home at lunch and falled asleep. Because working is hard. But I should get to go every day. Because Old Girl can totally type with me in her lap. And I am real good with the li-berry peoples.

My mom is a librarian too, but I didn't get to go to work with her on Friday. Your mom's work sounds so much cooler!

Humans always have weird and stupid rules at their workplace. I bet when you aren't there, your old girl chews on books and maybe even pees on them.

Hi, Fred...

What a fun day...You look great in your "Business Casual" Shirt...

My Mom's work says, "No Dogs Allowed"...I know my Mom would be happier at work if I was there...

But from what she says, it's not really a fun place to be...

You are such a lucky pup to get to be among the books. The crazy old bat loves books.

Looks like you had a great day, Fred! We're glad you didn't pee on any books or bite any of the patrons! They probably wouldn't like that!

That looks like a totally cool assistants position you just got. I think you should get to go everyday, AND be paid handsomely.

How many book did you chew on when you mom was not looking, admit it Fred!
My mom works in the hospital, a place full of needles which I'm allergic to, I rather stay home and being missed!
Love ya!

Fred we are extrememly impressed that you did a day's work at the library. No doubt you checked all the shelves to make sure that none of the books were dog-eared!

We have never been in a library, doubt we ever will so we really appreciate your post as we now know what they look like.

How cool to be able to go to work with your Old Girl! Did you bark at the patrons who returned their books with dog ears?

Looks like you had a fun time! When my girl still had a job, I used to love it when she'd take me to work with her too.
