True Colors Thursday: Puce

Hello again. It's me...Fred.

Puce was a tough color to find (even for that text color there--that's too pink)! And I'm glad it has several varieities because mine looks slightly more pinkish than some of yours out there.

This is the one I tried to use...

And these are the three things we found! {Yes, only three. Blame Old Girl. Grr.}

Old Girl's necklace that one of her student workers brought her from India...

This little angel fellow is sitting on a puce Bible...

And this book is about an actress Old Girl likes...
Next week is pewter!

Tale of the Snoopies

Hello again. It's me...Fred.

Remember this little guy I got for Christmas?

Well, he was, um, technically Old Girl's. heehee He is Snoopy from 1950, and Mr. Jason put him in her stocking. But I LOVE HIM. So I took him as mine.

And Old Girl liked him so much that she got his brothers from the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s.
{They're a little intimidating all up there together, huh?}

But then she put them away with the Christmas decorations and would not even let me play with them or rip out their eyes!

I was real mad about that.

True Colors Thursday: Blue and White

Hello again. It's me...Fred.

I is so excited!!! My very first True Colors Thursday! Thanks, Blue, for letting me play along!

OK, here are all the blue-and-white stuffs I could find...

My Cowboys pillow is blue and gray, but it sits on our white bed...{I was sad to see the Cowboys not going to the Super Bowl. Boo}...

This is where Old Girl puts her recyclables. She says that is a nice thing to do...

These are the napkins and napkin rings that Old Girl and Mr. Jason use at suppertime. I don't have a napkin...

This sign hangs in our bedroom. It is blue (even though it sort of doesn't look like it) and hangs on a white wall...

This is Old Girl's REAL name. Ha! Silliness...

This bookshelf in the bedroom has a ton of blue and white stuffs! It is blue. Then the picture frame on top (that you can halfway see) is white with blue writing. On the second shelf, the R2D2 pez is blue and white. Then Blue Bear (that "No, I am not allowed to play with. Drop it.") is blue with a white necktie and sits on a blue and white glass thingy. And on the bottom shelf is a blue and white plate with dolphins on it that Old Girl brought back from Greece. I thought that was just a movie, but it turns out there is a country, too...

Finally, the best blue-and-white of all...White me in my blue Snuggie!!!

This was so much fun! Old Girl needs a challenge in life, and I think this will be good for her. ;P Next week's color is puce. I had to look that one up.

Presenting...the Snuggie

Hello again. It's me...Fred.

I know you all has been waiting and waiting (and waiting, Old Girl) for these Snuggie pictures. So here they are!

I must say...Old Girl said she would not buy one of these things for me (selfish). Luckily, Grandpa and his chillren gived me one for Christmas.

And I.love.it.

It is so snuggly and warm. And it is true that you can do lots of things while wearing the Snuggie!

You can play that Wii...

You can play Scrabble...

And, of course, you can snuggle down...
Old Girl says it looks a lot like my sweater to her, but I say it is different. And awesome.

RIP Ziggy

Please go over to my friend Pedro's blog and show his family some love. Their beloved puppy Ziggy has crossed the bridge.

{Mostly} Wordless Wednesday

Hello again. It's me...Fred.

One of my New Year's resolutions is to join up with this Wordless Wednesday mania.

So here ya go...

{Yeah...I know this post wasn't wordless, but Old Girl should've announced it before now. The next one will not have words. heh}

Old Girl = Slacker...oh, and Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and all that jazz

Hello again. It's me...Fred.

So I is just now--just now!--catching you up on my Christmas. It took Old Girl 40 forevers just to catch up on everyone else's blogs from Christmas and New Years.

Grr, Old Girl. Grr.

Anyways, we had a real nice Christmas at my Grandpa's.

I played with some chillren who gived me a Santa suit and a Snuggie (pictures to come--I promise!)...

That Santa suit was real snuggly warm...

I snoozed in it and watched the little bit of snow fall...

And Santa Paws filled my stocking with delicious treats...

The pig ear was my favorite...
The other toys were cool, too...
The trip was fun, but exhausting. This is what I did for the rest of Christmas...

Soon to come...Snuggie excitement, Snoopy madness and new changes for the new year!
