Take Your Fred Back to Work Day!

Hello again. It's me...Fred.

What an exciting Take Your Fred to Work Day we had again this year! I had lots of fun at Old Girl's liberry, and I am going to tell you all about it.

Preparations started the night before. I had a bath and a trim, and I had to pick out my bandanna....
Then, the next morning, we woke up real early and got a bagel before heading in...

Once we got there, Old Girl had to brush my hair and make sure I was nice and fluffy...

Then she and Mr. Jason wanted to get some shots...but I wouldn't look because I was READY!!!

Finally, we were inside! I was in my carrier at first but was much calmer than last year, so Old Girl let me walk around a lot more. It was real nice...


Then I got to meet the bossman and say thank you for letting me visit this work...

And thank you, too, Old Girl...

At work, I helped watch the desk for patrons...

...search for books...



(I got a little bored with this)



...and ride the bookcarts (don't let the pictures fool you. I did NOT like this and tried to climb right off those things)...



I also ate everything under Old Girl's desk and hid (and, um, ate some more) under this couch...

But I was really excited to find out they had a room just for snacks!!! I can't remember what it's called...


I got real sleepy after all the snacking, so we took a few more shots and headed home for lunch...



Old Girl said I was a "good boy!!!"

I can't wait to come back next year, li-berry-enns!

True Colors Thursday: Mango

This week's color was mango.

Old Girl and I went in search of some mangos at the grocery store to check out the color, but these didn't seem just right...

This painting that my Uncle Michael did seems more mango (yellow-green-orange-ish, I thought)...

And this little box has some bits of mango...

Of course, my favorite Mango is my pal, whose blog is here!

Blue says next week is tangerine!

True Colors Thursday: Purple

Hello again. It's me...Fred.

We had lots of fun with purple this week, Blue!

We found this purple fan from where Old Girl and Mr. Jason used to work...

Old Girl got these purplish magnets when she and Mr. Jason got "married." She uses them to hold pictures of me!

Our grape juice is purple...

And my foodstuffs is purple!

Can you believe Old Girl actually likes to take baths?! With these bubbles?! She is silly. I like to try to eat those bubbles out of the bath, though...

Now, these are some fun purple bubbles to chase. I have a feeling we'll be having some good times with them this weekend!

After seeing these pictures up close, it looks like we'll be needing to do some cleaning this weekend, too. We'll also be on the lookout for mango, which is next week's color!

Old Girl and Mr. Jason were at the Dollar Store this weekend when they saw...

Snoopy Bowls!!!

OMD!!! I *heart* Snoopy! I look just like vulture Snoopy sometimes...

Anyways, I was real excited about those bowls at first, but now I don't know if I like them so much. I might miss my metal bowls {these are plastic}.

Pool Partay!!!

Hello again. It's me...Fred.

I had no idea when I talked with you on Friday that I would be heading to a pool party that very night!!! There was pool volleyball and swimming and cold drinks and chips and MEAT.


I tried to get in through these bars...


...but Old Girl said, "NO." Because there was all that foodstuffs. Old Girl! So she and Mr. Jason took turns going in and getting their foodstuffs...

And I didn't get ANY...even though I reallyreallyreally tried...

Can you believe Old Girl and Mr. Jason were so selfish that they didn't give me any burger or hot dog or even a potato chip?!?!

I was so hungry I had to eat some of this grass...

And right after this picture, I knocked over Old Girl's drink and upchucked...effectively ending the pool party.

It was actually great fun!

Let's Try This Again

Hello again. It's me...Fred.

I is real proud of Old Girl for stepping up and fulfilling her responsib...reespawns...um, what I told her to do last weekend on blogging better.

Yippee!

So, let's try it again...even though we don't have much going on this weekend.

I'll be going for me walks and maybe a car ride or two. And I heard a rumor that I've got to get my medisin put on. Blech. We'll see if we can turn that into something.

Old Girl accountability? Check.

True Colors Thursday: Ginger

Hello again. It's me...Fred.

This week's color is Ginger.

My chewies are ginger-colored...but chicken-flavored...

Old Girl's big purse is gingery. I like to root around in there...

Old Girl has this ginger-colored skull in the kitchen. It makes her giggle, but Mr. Jason says it is creepy...

Old Girl and I just found a few ginger-colored things this week. Then we realized that Kung Fu Hamster (in the last post) has an evil ginger tint, and the cute guinea pigs at the PetSmart (in the post before that) are also gingered.

So it was kind of a True Colors Week. Next week is purple!
