Nine Years Old!

Hello again. It's me...Fred.

It is my birthday! Old Girl and Mr. Jason are keeping it low-key this year, but I'm still pumped about my present: a giant plastic bottle and some extra treats.

Those bottles are my favorite things right now, and treats are always delicious.

I figure some of you might also want to know How Everything Is Going in terms of New Girl.

Right now, she is half my size but twice as loud. Boy, can she cry! Mostly when she is hungry, which I understand. But I still get Very Concerned about that crying.

So far, I have been successful at shredding two diapers, licking her toes, and being really good about "saying hello" to the baby (which mostly means don't lick her toes or crowd her space).

Old Girl has several pictures of us, so I will try to get those posted soon. (Old Girl, of course, is slower than ever.)

I haven't been around to your blogs either, but I will try to get back to reading soon. I was so sad to hear, though, that my friend Maggie crossed over the bridge. She and Mitch were among my first friends here in blog land, so they are very special!

And her mom made a beautiful hat for New Girl! We can't wait for her to wear it.

Hope you all get an extra treat in celebration of nine years today.

Happy Birthday, Fred! We know all about that crying, it usually means feed me or change me or please just hold me. Tell Old Girl it's OK for you to lick her toes, she just might like it and stop crying:)

Yes, we recommend toe licking too. We understand previous dogs in the family also had face licking rights once they proved that they were worthy of the honor. Muzzer said it made cleanup of the babies much easier.

Happy birthday, Fred! I have a caterpillar toy with a plastic bottle inside and he makes the neatest noise! Enjoy your plastic bottle and treats.
Thank you for your very kind words about My Maggie and me. We love you, buddy.
