Deep Thoughts

Hello again. It's me...Fred.

There was a sad-happy story in my paper recently about a puppy who had her mouth taped shut. It makes Old Girl and me weepy to think about who could hurt a puppy like that, so let's get to the happy real quick! She is going to be a-OK, and the people who are taking care of her have had offers from all over the country to give her a forever home. Yay!

But then I saw this story.

And I got to thinking of how awesome it would be if some of those people who wanted to help Hope could help some of these other puppies instead.

We all have a story, you know? Some of us are escaping out of really, really bad situations, and some of us have always been loved, and some of us have just been out and about on our own. But we all need homes where people will love us forever.

So, if you can, please give a puppy or kitty a forever home.

If you can't, we understand! {Mr. Jason says our house is maxed out right now, and there is only me and New Girl. What?!?!}

But there are LOTS of ways to help. Money is always good, of course. But we also like to pick up  supplies at the grocery store when we have a few extra pennies. Just another thing of bleach, paper towels, or foodstuffs to help out these folks who do the BIG work of taking care of puppies and kitties.

That's all of my deep thoughts for now. Time to go snuggle Old Girl.

So Happy America Day...from me and New Girl!
